Liese Bronfenbrenner has created unique pieces of fabric art for forty years, enhancing her fiber art skills with workshops at Quilting by the Lake, Arrowmount, Penland, as well as consultation with fiber artists all over the world. Her work, consisting of wall hangings, small quilts, soft sculptures, and artists' books have been exhibited at national exhibits such as Stitchery International '81-Pittburgh, Needle Expressions 88'- Bloomington, Aullwood Audobon Center-Dayton, as well at galleries and juried craft and quilt shows in New York State.

"Sand Dollar Bankers" is one of Liese Bronfrenbrenners three demensional creations, part of the Dreamboat Series. The "boats" are, with some exceptions, made from Cayuga Lake driftwood. The sails are usually jet printed silk. Human figures and animals are made with fabric, wire and decorative notions. The series, besides Dreamboats includes the "Grim-Grimms" pieces depicting grim and somber fairytale pieces as well as current issues related structures such as "The Unwanted" or "Nimby." These are not manipulative toys for children.

Plants are fascinating. During winter forays Susan has had many opportunities to look for dried flowers and seed pods. Life appears to be on hold. Spring and summer flowers offer a new challenge, never static as they progress from bud to flower to fruit to seed pod.

Susan uses Helicon Focus, a program which extends the depth of field. Each photograph is a combination of several pictures with different focal points, which the software combines. "In my paintings I try to capture everything about a moment in time: the light, the feeling, the sense of space, the action, the stillness. My paintings are colorful and I presently work in oil, although I have also used acrylic as well. My work is representational, yet I don't strive for photo-realism. In all of my paintings, whether they are still life, portraits, landscapes or cityscapes, I try to connect with the subject, so that by the time I am finished I feel like I have inhabited the scene. Corinne is a textile and photographic artist in Ithaca, NY who creates whimsical multi-media art for home and body. She loves reused, recycled and repurposed materials. Much of her work uses unique textiles and high-heel shoe bling and has a sculptural feel. Her focus is often on elements of design found serendipitously in nature, engineering, and architecture.

Corinne's work has been shown at various cafes, restaurants, bed and breakfasts, galleries, fairs, festivals, markets, shops, and fundraisers in the Central New York area since 2001. Most recently she has been associated with Spirit and Kitsch and The Kitschen Sink.

Rachel Philipson is an award-winning freelance photographer and graphic designer. Her studio is in her home, in Ithaca, NY, where she lives with her husband, 2 beagles and 2 cats. Born and raised in Ithaca, she earned her BFA in Photography at Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA in 1994.

Rachel offers photography for weddings and special events, portraits (people and pet), real estate and commercial products, and corporate exhibitions. She is currently the staff photographer for the Ithaca Times.

Helen Bigsby has been an artist and art teacher in Ithaca for twenty years. She has taught at Ithaca High School for the past 14 years. Recently, she has been working on a series, "Girls with Attitude" portraying female students as the subject matter for her work. This donated painting is one of the beginning studies from this sequence.

Eric Serritella is a full time, nationally exhibiting artist specializing in ceramic trompe l'oeil sculptures of birch trees and weathered logs. He also enjoys photography as a creative hobby.

The artist has described the intense excitement one can experience while watching powerful waves of the brilliant blue Adriatic Sea rising and breaking along the coast.

Dora Donovan is an award winning artist who has exhibited widely since 1967 in Ithaca and Upsate New York Museums including the Everson, Syracuse, Memorial Art gallery, Rochester, Roberson, Binghamton, Arnot, and Elmira. Her work is also in public and private collections throughout the United States.

Dede balances a commercial photography business with the creation of personal photography projects. She is a member of the Greater Ithaca Art Trail and can be found on the art trail website.

Gallery in Philadelphia, Principle Gallery in Alexandria, VA, andthe West End Gallery In Corning. Currently she has asolo exhibition of her paintings of birds at ChaseGallery.

I moved to Ithaca almost nine years ago and found inspiration in the steam rising from Lucifer Falls and the blazing sunsets seen from Town Line Road. Emily is an Ithaca resident who studied plant biology and now works in a chemistry lab. She dabbles in art in her free time as well as running through the woods with her dog. Emily had a recent art show in the alley at Felicias Atomic Lounge.

Linda Andrei is a self-taught, emerging local multimedia artist with a focus on oil painting.
